Don Ruesewald has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years as an agency owner. He spent the early part of his insurance career building a very successful Captive insurance agency. He sold that agency in 2010 and opened Merit. His desire was to offer a full-service, independent agency in order to provide more options for customers within the community. Don is married to Julie and has three children. He is active in his Church and loves to fish.
